Who Should Attend Wabash Institute Courses?

Courses are designed for anyone in the local church including lay leaders, local deacons, and pastors. All individuals who are interested in developing ministry skills and deepening their understanding of biblical studies and theology are encouraged to attend.

 For those interested in credentialing:

While the Institute is designed for lay leaders, courses are also helpful for pastors and ordination candidates. Ordained pastors may earn continuing education credits (CEU’s). In addition, those who are pursuing ordination may earn credits towards the completion of educational requirements. Additional work will be required of those taking the courses for ordination purposes.

Is There a Cost Involved?

The tuition for each course is $50 for general participants. Due to additional work requirements, the cost for those working towards ordination is $90. In addition participants may need to purchase text books or other resources for the class. Ordination students may apply for Fruitful Leaders Scholarship reimbursement upon successful completion of the course.

Do I Have to Attend All Classes to Take Advantage of the Institute?

Anyone interested in developing as a leader and in knowledge of the Bible and Theology is welcome to attend any course of the Wabash Institute. You do not have to complete all the curriculum offered by the Institute. Everyone is free to participate. Registration and book fees will apply. However, in order to receive a Certificate of Completed Studies from the Institute, all classes must be completed.
